Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actress and performer from America. She received the best recognition for her performance as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). She also played the main character Jerrica Jem Betnton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is of Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her speech was the valedictory for her class during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to admit her. She declined the offer twice. The second time was due to her desire to perform in Nashville. Peeples has guest-starred on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally 2011 Grey's Anatomy (2005), as well as a character who appeared in Necessary roughness (1991). She appeared in the television film Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) as well as The Good Mother. She was a major player on the Nashville series, in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples opened up about bipolar in an interview for 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples as one of the top actors who is under 20 in September of 2014.
